Films
Elke woensdagavond zijn er weer films in het Amphitheater van de Vestingbar (afgekort: Amphi). Wat is Amphi nou weer? Misschien is het Amphi wel het best bewaarde geheim van de Vestingbar. Amphi is ons zeer sfeervolle theater met 53 zitplaatsen, dat voorzien is van een complete bioscoopinstallatie. Nieuw dit collegejaar: De toegang tot de films is GRATIS! Dus heb je woensdagavond vrij, kom dan onder het genot van een biertje of andere versnapering film kijken in ons Amphitheater.
Het filmprogramma van Amphi bestaat uit de minder bekende topfilms waaronder filmhuis tot klassiekers uit het verleden. Zelf tips, wensen, aanmerkingen op ons filmprogramma of Amphi? Laat het ons weten door een mailtje te sturen naar evenementen@vestingbar.nl.
De Vestingbar gaat op woensdag om 20:30 open en de filmzaal om 20:45. Aanvang van de film is om 21:00. Toegang gratis! Kom wel op tijd, anders is de film begonnen en zijn de deuren van Amphi helaas gesloten. Tevens is een pul bier te koop tijdens de vaste filmvertoningen voor slechts euro 2,00! Deze actie geldt vanaf openingstijd tot aan einde film.

Woensdag 24 maart, vanaf 21:00.Matty is a 41-year old troubled married woman. And, after an accident when leaving the parking place of the local supermarket, her car needs a repair. Away We Go
Woensdag 31 maart, vanaf 21:00.Mid-thirtysomethings Burt Farlander and Verona De Tessant are a loving couple. Burt has always wanted to marry Verona, but Verona resists, not seeing the point of the institution. Regardless, they are having a baby together, despite questioning their potential parenting abilities. They are happy that they made the decision to move close to Burt's parents, Jerry and Gloria Farlander, as they want to share the experience with the baby's grandparents. Verona's own parents died over ten years earlier, a situation about which she doesn't like to discuss. In Verona's sixth month, she and Burt learn that Jerry and Gloria are moving to Antwerpen, Belgium the month before the baby is due, just because it's something they've always wanted to do. Burt and Verona don't understand what they see as Jerry and Gloria's selfishness in putting this move above spending time with their impending granddaughter. Being mobile people, Burt and Verona decide to move. As they want to share their new family experience with people that they love, they decide to take a trans-continental trip to meet with old friends and relatives. Most of them are married with children of their own, and Burt and Verona want to see where they would like to live and with whom they want to share the experience.
